JC's Mermaid Gallery (updated)
Hello everyone! I updated the gallery to include some new mermaid cards I have recently received... and one that I received quite a while ago, but am only now getting the opportunity to show... Click on the thumbnails to take a closer look!
The Lil' Mermaid by Maryam
My friend Maryam traded me this wonderful mermaid card even before I joined Monday Artday ATC -- when we first started trading cards at the main MAD site. Her style is so sweet and charming! I've been a huge fan of her work for a long time, so to get an original piece is very special to me.
Mermaid by Nic
Nic may be young, but he sure has tons of talent! I have never seen a cyclops mermaid before... nor one as beautifully done as this. Truly an original! I'm going to be following the cool and creative artwork of Nic and his younger brother Tony.

When I saw all the gorgeous greens of this fabulous card, I had to trade for it! It's bright and bold, and there are touches of sparkle here and there that makes it absolutely stand out!
Mermaid by Timbrettopoli
This ATC has so much pizzaz! And it's done by the wonderfully creative Timbrettopoli, who is not only incredibly talented, but just about the nicest person you could ever trade with!
Moon Mermaid by Vera
Vera adds just the right sparkle as the moonlight's glow cascades down from the beautiful mermaid's hand.
Mermaid 5 by Vera
The pink hues on this card just make it so dreamy! I loved it when I first saw it, and now I'm the proud owner of this ATC!
Fairy White Mermaid by Vera
Yes, Vera sent me three lovely mermaids! She is so awesome! Her cards are full of character and fantasy, and this is no exception!

this is so cute and playful... not to mention, totally funny... hehehe! There's a story behind this scene - a mermaid shows how she can play with her fairy friend.

Lisa's style is so delicate and soft. You can see the graceful strokes of her pencils on this beautiful card.

We Are One by Takara
My 11 year old niece declared Takara's card her favorite of my collection because it is "SO CUTE!". And no wonder! There is something so magical about a mermaid dancing with an orca.

Roberta's sweet mermaid is such a lovely piece indeed! And created by an even sweeter person =)

I was thrilled to receive this... Look at the amazing colors and absolute gorgeous pose!

Wow, talk about original! One of Zime's famous birds... and a mermaid bird at that! A unique and wonderful addition to my collection.

Esmeralda’s portraits just fascinate me, so I was so happy she made this for me. It’s the way she creates the eyes… so mesmerizing!
Mermaid with Purple Hair by Esmeralda
This scan really doesn't do this card justice. Esmeralda added glitter and diamond glaze to portions of the card to give it that wow factor... and it already had wow factor! =)

The detail on this is INCREDIBLE!!!! Wow, I am in awe of her talent and this beautiful card.
She Has Many Friends by Elizabeth
This piece reminds me of the work of Chagall and Picasso, a couple of my favorite artists. I think it’s so awesome she has blue skin!

I love the way her hair is drawn… floating so wistfully as she gazes with that serious look on her face.

Another lovely card in which I totally admire the seriousness of her expression.
The Singing Mermaid by Beeble
I absolutely love the jewel tones of Beeble's cards. This particular one she embellished with beads and sequins, and with gold ink, too. It’s eye candy!

I adore that K did this in her style. This mermaid’s expression just oozes diva... I love it!
Deco Mermaid by Cary
I am a big fan of Cary’s deco style art, so I just had to have a version done in this style. The graceful lines and gorgeous colors are to die for!

The variety of the mermaids I’ve received is what makes this such a great collection. This grayscale piece has wonderful charm.

There is such vibrancy and color to this awesome mermaid! The cartoon style has total character!
