- About Me:
- I have been married now for 16 years. Love being a mom. I live in California. I have been painting, drawing, and making collages since I can remember. I have always loved to make art as a child, and still do. I am self-taught other than having some art classes in high school, and having a dad that paints, and draws as well as some of my siblings, has helped my love of art. So I guess it runs in the family. I have traded ATCs, 4x4's, post cards, paper art dolls, as well as other forms of mail art for about 3 years now. Before that I mainly painted, doodled, etc., for the fun of it.
- How did you hear of Monday Artday ATC?
- I saw it on another persons blog I was visiting.
- Describe the style of your work:
- My work doesn't adhere to just one particular style of art. My work ranges from funky to whimsical, sometimes realism. I also like to collage using vintage images. I really like to use texture in my work. I also use lots of color.

- rusty orange, browns, reds, blue greens...actually all colors! :)
- Something Interesting:
- I have gone to New York and it was so cool! I really enjoyed walking around Brooklyn. The neighborhoods are so quaint. I can't wait to go back. I also needle felt. I make teddy bears out of wool by needle felting them. I love to listen to the thunder and watch the lightning during a thunderstorm.

Thank you for the kind welcome
Just want to thank all those members that have made me feel welcomed to this group. This is a really friendly group of artists which I really appreciate. I have been in other ATC groups, won't mention any names, but they really lack a lot of the friendliness and charm that this group has. I'm happy to have found Monday ArtDay ATC. It's an awesome group!

Michelle Ku said… - Yup Esmaralda, both are available. YOu wanna trade? The stuff along the edge of the bird image is Ranger Crackle Paint. Its a one step process which is like painting coloured acrylic paint onto the ATC card and it crackles when it dries. I love the effects. Thanks for looking.

The whole ATC aspect of trading I'm new to.
However, I've been a 'mailart' artist for over 25 years.
Before Michael's craft stores, and 'scrapbooking' there were a
few of us, lone rubberstamp/mix media artists who would swap our hand carved stamped work.
The 'summer holiday' pineapple through post, and postage stamped plunger would make it's way to my home and others at least once a year!
I love mailart. Trading, swaping, creating.
I look forward to future swaps here!
