Monday Artday ATC

Lets Trade!!

Monday Artday ATC

NEW CONTEST!

WELCOME... upload your photos/cards by using the photos tab! Then other members can see what artwork you have made

ATC stands for Artist Trading Cards... They are generally hand made and used for trading with fellow artists through the mail. The card size is 2.5x3.5

If you see a card you are interested in, let the creator of the card know and maybe they will be interested in trading for one of your own!

RULES:

1. PLEASE DO NOT upload artwork that is not an atc or other sized art for trade . All ATC trades should be 3.5 x 2.5 cards. They can vary in size from time to time but 99% of the time thats the required size.

2. When you upload artwork that is for trade please put 'Available' somewhere in the title. When your card or artwork is traded please put 'Traded' in the title. This keeps other artist from having to contact you about cards that are no longer available. Try not to dump too many pictures at once, give artist time to view and see what has been posted. Dont post 80 pictures at once. Try to stretch them out. If your hand drawing those anyway, it would be difficult to post so many in a 24 hour period. Dont make this your personal portfolio, this is not a place to show large paintings, craft works, other media that is not related to ATC.

3. All cards most of the time need to be drawn/ painted by hand. Most of the artists on here are illustrators, cartoonists, painters, graphic artist or doodlers. Most will put a lot of time and effort into each and every card. With that said its probably not a good idea to use a lot of scrapbook clip art, stickers and printed media as the sole basis of the card. Every ATC traded must be an original piece by the artist trading. Once you created a card place it in a protective sleeve before sending to the artist. This protects the card from damage.

Please upload digital ATCs to the digital group only and not on the main site.

4) Trades should be mutually agreed upon - if a trade is refused there should be no hard feelings.

5) All trades must be followed through to the satisfaction of each party.

The Whole Day Off! - advice on clear coat?

OOOOOOO I have the WHOLE day off!! You know what that means.... LOTS of ATCs! I already made 9 sketches last night.. just have to paint them now. Do any of you have any advice on painting a clear coat over my ATCs to protect them? What sort of paint would I use for that? Know where to get it online? I think ATCs with a clear coat just look so much better and professional!

Monday Artday

OPPOSITES

Opposite sides of the same ATC ( which i did for a trade some time ago).

Opposite

This idea came to me as I was in a nice dream state. Opposite creatures, opposite times of the day, opposite stances and opposite directions.

Opposites

While quite opposite in taste, there comes a time in life
when some women crave the two extremes together.

This was my original post for IF. However, since mother and baby are opposite from each other, I think it works for this week's theme here too.
