Monday Artday ATC

Lets Trade!!

Monday Artday ATC

Please upload digital ATCs to the digital group only and not on the main site. Same goes for collage ATCs (cut up photos, clip art, stickers, stamps etc). Upload collage ATCs to the collage group only.

WELCOME... upload your photos/cards by using the photos tab! Then other members can see what artwork you have made

ATC stands for Artist Trading Cards... They are generally hand made and used for trading with fellow artists through the mail. The card size is 2.5x3.5

If you see a card you are interested in, let the creator of the card know and maybe they will be interested in trading for one of your own!

RULES:

1. PLEASE DO NOT upload artwork that is not an atc or other sized art for trade . All ATC trades should be 3.5 x 2.5 cards. They can vary in size from time to time but 99% of the time thats the required size.

2. When you upload artwork that is for trade please put 'Available' somewhere in the title. When your card or artwork is traded please put 'Traded' in the title. This keeps other artist from having to contact you about cards that are no longer available. Try not to dump too many pictures at once, give artist time to view and see what has been posted. Dont post 80 pictures at once. Try to stretch them out. If your hand drawing those anyway, it would be difficult to post so many in a 24 hour period. Dont make this your personal portfolio, this is not a place to show large paintings, craft works, other media that is not related to ATC.

3. All cards most of the time need to be drawn/ painted by hand. Most of the artists on here are illustrators, cartoonists, painters, graphic artist or doodlers. Most will put a lot of time and effort into each and every card. With that said its probably not a good idea to use a lot of scrapbook clip art, stickers and printed media as the sole basis of the card. Every ATC traded must be an original piece by the artist trading. Once you created a card place it in a protective sleeve before sending to the artist. This protects the card from damage.

Please upload digital ATCs to the digital group only and not on the main site.

4) Trades should be mutually agreed upon - if a trade is refused there should be no hard feelings.

5) All trades must be followed through to the satisfaction of each party.

Just a thought? SKETCH BOOK SWAP

Welcome to the sketchbook swap! Here is how it works:

**Buy a small blank sketchbook that is not too heavy or big (because of shipping costs)

**Write your address on the last page

**Put a list of the people who are participating in this in the front of the sketch book (keep the people in the same order they appear in my list on here)

**Send your sketch book to the person that is listed below your name (see below for list)

**They will paint, draw, or whatever on one of the pages in yo… Continue

Moved

Well, we finally lost the battle with the previous owners and mortgage company on our house and had to move. We moved most of the big stuff to the new address last night and boy is it cram packed in the new place! We went from a 3 bedroom/2 bath house to a 2 bedroom/1 bath duplex.

Hopefully we'll get settled in within the next couple of weeks, but in the meantime, I still have some commissions to work on and a Star Theme swap to host! If any one is willing to trade with me still, I have a new a… Continue

Well, that didn't work...

So much for the resolution.

I've got plenty of inspiration but no way to post anything. My computer program that I use to scan in my images refuses to save anything. Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator both randomly quit when ever they please leaving me having to start over on whatever I'm working on.

I sent the computer (laptop) away to someone to get fixed and it's been gone for months. I gave in and set up an agreement with someone to get another computer (pc) but it has no internet connection,… Continue

How does one make time for ATC's in their busy daytime work home schedules ??

Hello To All.
Amazing work here from all of Members.
One Query
-how do you find time to do your ATC's and do them so wonderfully.
Is there something special that you do in order to accomplish this fun task.
How to get things done on time --too.

Just a Really Newbie thoughts and questions on the process of ATC's
Thanks Denise

Train

Please clean your port area
with your cleansing stick
Some pretend it is a train
moving very quick.

This illustration is from one of the books I illustrated for the hemophilia community called "Infusion time".  It represents the part in the infusion process for a child with a port a cath (central line in the chest) when the area needs to be sterilized before the needle is inserted.  Another example of those brave kids!

oh no, I'm late with my first post

Well, unfortunately I did not get my first post (insanity) in on time.  It is my homage to my lady crush Kara Goucher, who has to be insane to run that far, that fast:

I put her up on stages on my blog.  What a bummer to not make it in on time!
